The Faculty of Social Sciences is seeking to appoint a Professorial Research Fellow to join a well-established team in the Centre for International Research on Care, Labour and Equalities (CIRCLE) at the University of Sheffield.
With an established interest in adult social care, you will have excellent leadership potential and an outstanding research profile. We are looking for someone ambitious with a forward research agenda that can contribute to the future success of the Centre. You should be keen to work in collaboration with care sector and international academic partners and committed to achieving policy and practice impact.
During the Fellowship, you will develop an innovative research agenda, pursuing opportunities for high profile external grants and producing high quality publications for a wide range of audiences.
The successful candidate will have exceptional opportunities to apply their research experience and skills, offering leadership to others in the CIRCLE team. Subject to satisfactory performance, you will transition to a standard professorial role at the end of the five-year Fellowship.
