Working with Hannah Brown, Ph.D. Associate Professor and colleagues from University of Nairobi, Njala University, and the Swiss Institute for Tropical Medicine.  The position is based in the Anthropology department at Durham University with travel to Sierra Leone for fieldwork.  Closing date is 31st October. 

 

This is a  four year position which should give the post-holder plenty of opportunity to develop an independent academic career whilst working within a larger project funded by an ERC starting grant. I am looking for someone with expertise/interest in human-animal relations, livelihoods/development, health and wellbeing, and (preferably) experience doing ethnographic fieldwork in west Africa.
