Dear Colleagues,
I would like to officially invite you to the 10th annual meeting of the European Society for the study of Human Evolution (ESHE) in Tübingen, Germany. The meeting will take place at the Eberhard Karls University from the 24th– 26th of September, followed by a choice of excursions to either the Ach or Lone Valleys on September 27th.
Meeting Registration is now open on our website at http://www.eshe.eu/meetings. If you would like to attend the closing dinner or excursion, please indicate this on your registration. Conference lunches and morning and afternoon tea are included in the meeting price. Please let us know if you have any dietary restrictions or other special requirements.
In response to feedback received in previous years, we will again provide childcare free of charge. Information about this service can be found here. We also continue to provide travel grants for students who present. More information can be found on our website.
This year we will hold ESHE board elections for president, vice-president, treasurer, secretary, and adjunct secretary. For more information see our website at https://www.eshe.eu/election.
Members of the society receive a discounted rate on meeting registration and may also vote on important decisions regarding the future of the society. To become a member of ESHE, please fill out an application on our website at http://eshe.eu/membership. The deadline to receive membership rates for the meeting is 30th of June. After this date only non-member rates will be available. Online registration closes on 23rd September 2020.
At this time we would like to invite those interested in presenting at the meeting to submit abstracts for Podium, Pecha Kucha or Poster presentations. The deadline for abstract submission is midnight (PST) on Thursday, May 4th . Please take careful note of the submission guidelines before uploading. For submission guidelines and to upload your abstract, visit http://www.eshe.eu/abstract_submission. Note that we have updated our registration system, and the submitting author now has to register and pay for the meeting before submitting an abstract.
