The School of Anthropology and Museum Ethnography at the University of Oxford in conjunction with the Centre on Migration, Policy and Society is seeking a Departmental Lecturer to join the Migration Studies teaching team based on the Banbury Road in Oxford. This is a full-time, fixed-term role for 3 academic years starting September 2020 and is needed to cover a period of research leave.
The successful applicant will have a relevant doctorate awarded at the time of application, significant research experience of an international quality (ideally including a track record of securing research funding), and experience of delivering teaching to high achieving graduate students from a range of backgrounds. The postholder will be expected to deliver teaching in the anthropology of mobility and migration.
