The American Anthropological Association is gearing up for the second annual Anthropology Day celebration on February 18.
Expanding on the success of last year, the 2016 event will be celebrated by more than 130 anthropology clubs and departments around the world with participating groups from India, Tunisia, Egypt, Mexico, Canada, and Morocco. With this celebration, we aim to spread the word about the work anthropologists do to a larger public audience. This year’s events place a strong emphasis on reaching out to the young students who represent the future of the field.
