The Journal of Legal Anthropology, published by Berghah, is looking for reviewers: We have the following books for which we are looking for reviewers:
Jessica Carlisle: Muslim Divorce in the Middle East: Contesting Gender in the Contemporary Courts
Cris Shore and David V Williams (eds) The Shapeshifting Crown: Locating the State in postcolonial New Zealand, Australia, Canada and the UK.
Pal Wilter Skedsmo Armenia and Europe: Foreign aid and environmental politics in the post-Soviet Caucasus
We would also encourage any potential reviewer to pitch a review or review article (in which more than one book is discussed) by getting in touch with M.Wemyss@Gold.ac.uk. Feel free to propose another recent publication as long as it speaks to the themes of the Journal.
If you are interested please get in touch. Please send us a couple of lines about yourself and your interest in the book as well as a postal address for sending the book to.
Deadline for submitting reviews is March 25th and these will appear in an issue this year, deadlines for later issues can be negotiated with the editor.
With very best wishes,
Martyn Wemyss (book reviews editor)
