Insaniyyat’s upcoming conference and updated timeline: The biennial conference will take place on January 6-8, 2022 in Palestine and online. The theme this year is Pessoptimism: Anthropologies of Palestinian Hope and Uncertainty and the deadline for submission of paper abstracts is July 1st, 2021.
In addition to a standard conference format of paper presentations, we are also hosting two graduate student closed workshops. Please circulate the call for papers below with your networks and encourage your colleagues and students to apply. Grants are available on a limited basis.
