The Centre for Migration and Intercultural Studies (CeMIS) of Antwerp University is looking for a postdoctoral researcher (100%) with international research experience in migration studies.
The researcher will work on the European project ‘CROSS-MIGRATION’ conducted by a multi-partner consortium. The aim of the project is to contribute to a better understanding of current and emerging migration, not by new research but rather by surveying and bringing together existing research on key migration questions. As one of the leading partners, CeMIS is in charge of building a comprehensive ‘knowledge hub’ for migration research. The researcher will be responsible for developing a sustainable research portal, in close cooperation with the other project partners. The overall task of the researcher will be on mapping the migration research field (with a focus on Europe) and on (availability of) migration data itself, data collection and methodological aspects of research on migration.
