This Summer School will introduce students to the ways religious pluralism can be studied ethnographically. Training of observation, reporting and writing ethnographically are all part of the program in preparation for carrying out fieldwork in Fátima, a major site of pilgrimage. Various guest lecturers will give insights from recent research on religious diversity in Southern Europe.
Following the successful summer school in 2017, the Sixth International Summer school is jointly organized by CRIA-Lisbon University Institute and the Honours College of Groningen University.
