Research Assistant in Social Science and Urban Public Health
The School of Population Health and Environmental Sciences at King’s College London is seeking to hire a Research Assistant to work on a sociological study of air pollution, which aims to bring social science and humanities understanding to scientific and policy questions on this global environmental health challenge.
The post is funded as part of an ESRC New Investigator Grant exploring the role of sensors and sensor data of air pollution in clinical, public health and public engagement contexts.
Alongside desk research, reviewing literature and administrative tasks, the RA will contribute to a case-study examining the role of commercial sensors in society.
The post holder will also be expected to work across disciplinary boundaries and contribute to interdisciplinary discussions on the topic.
