The University of Alabama is recruiting graduate students. Applicants should synergize with interests in biocultural medical and psychological anthropology, cultural impacts on health, and public engagement. Qualified applicants might develop projects in concert with the ongoing tattooing research in the South Pacific (see below) or developing projects on health in Madagascar.

We guarantee 3 years funding for PhD students with an MA, 5 years of funding for direct-to-PhD students, & have competitive funding for MA students. For the past two years, we have completed funded 100% of our graduate students!
