One PhD research fellowship (3 years fully funded) in medical anthropology and/or global health (with fieldwork in Tanzania) and one Postdoc research fellowship (2 years fully funded) in social sciences and/or global health (working with Chinese sources) are available in the Department of Community Medicine and Global Health at the University of Oslo.
Both positions will be part of the project ‘From Asia to Africa: Antibiotic trajectories across the Indian Ocean’. The project follows the production, regulation and export of antibiotics from China and India, to their circulation and consumption in Tanzania, and brings together an interdisciplinary team from anthropology, history, Asian studies, global health and medicine:
