Department of Health, Ethics and Society, Maastricht University, invites applications for 2 PhD positions funded as a Marie Curie Innovative Training Network “Mapping Uncertainties, Challenges and Future Opportunities of Emerging Markets: Informal Barriers, Business Environments and Future Trends in Eastern Europe, The Caucasus and Central Asia”. Within the overall network the two PhD candidates at Maastricht University will focus on informality and health care in Russia
Candidates’ profile:
– Masters’ degree with focus on Science and Technology Studies, anthropology, sociology, political sciences, history of science and medicine or related fields
– Strong interest in health
– Affinity with, knowledge of, and at least some experience in qualitative research methods
– Excellent command of written and spoken English
– Ability to speak Russian is an asset
